• Paul Wins ASCAP Screen Music Award

Paul won an American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP) award for his soundtrack to Limitless (CBS). The award ceremony at The Beverley Hills Hilton honoured a host of composers including Hans Zimmer (Interstellar), Timbaland (Empire) and Fellow Scottish composer Craig Armstrong, who picked up the Henry Mancini Award.

Limitless, produced by Bradley Cooper, is currently airing on CBS in the US, Sky 1 in the UK and 18 countries worldwide. It features Jake McDorman (American Sniper) as lead character Brian Finch, an average 28-year old man that gains the ability to use the full extent of his brain's capabilities and is hired by the FBI as a consultant.  Paul also scored the Worldwide No. 1 feature film of the same name in 2011.

  • Murder

After picking up a BAFTA for its debut in 2012, Murder is back in a three-part format, with the Guardian calling it “unmissable drama - one of the most original shows ever”. The first film is once again directed by The Killing's acclaimed creator Birger Larsen.

The third film is directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard (Sundance winners for the Nick Drake film 20000 Days On Earth). Paul’s scoring all three films.

  • James Plays International Tour

After the sell-out run of The James Plays at 2000-seater Edinburgh Festival Theatre and at the iconic Olivier Theatre in London’s West End, the National Theatre and National Theatre Of Scotland are taking them on a world tour. They will start off with previews in Edinburgh and will travel throughout the UK, and then onto New Zealand and Canada.

Paul is currently reworking some of his score to James 2 for the tour. The James 1 score stays the same.

Paul scored the film starring Bradley Cooper and has been composing for the television reboot since it’s launch in September.

The TV show is due to launch on Sky One in the UK in late February.

  • Shanghai Disney Ride

Paul will be composing the soundtrack for a new Disney Ride in Shanghai.

In 2012, Paul composed the soundtrack for Epcot Centre attraction "Test Track" at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, in conjunction with Chevrolet.  The soundtrack accompanies the pre-show interactivity (desigining your car), the ride (you can ride your car at 60mph) and the post-ride experience including taking photogtaphs with your concept car.

Some of Paul's music for the ride was featured on Walt Disney World Official Album in 2013.

  • Limitless on CBS

Scoring for the new Limitless TV series is well underway. Paul scored the film back in 2011 (which starred Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro) and is absolutely delighted to be working with director Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Office).

The series stars Jake McDorman (American Sniper, Greek) as Brian Finch, who discovers that a drug called NZT can give him access to 100% of his brain function.

Bradley Cooper, who features in the new trailer is also exec producing the series along with Neil Burger.
