Paul was thrilled when Texas front-woman, Sharleen Spiteri approached him to work on her solo album project. Having had huge success with Texas including numerous gold and platinum selling albums, Sharleen wanted to spread her wings on a solo project. Adding a "Motown" sound and cinematic strings to some tracks, Paul and Sharleen worked together to oversee the recording sessions which included a session in Texas bandmate Johnny's home studio and also London's Angel Studios - where Sharleen's friend Peter Kay turned up and entertained everyone by dancing round the studio.
