New Yorkers, Joy Zipper, came to Glasgow to work with producer Tony Doogan (The Delgado's, Mojave 3, The Mountain Goats). Paul was asked to write instrumental arrangements to work alongside Joy Zipper's gorgeously hypnotic pop. While Joy Zipper ended up using a different producer, they kept all of Paul's brass and string arrangements on the final cut. The finished album American Whip was produced by Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine and club DJ turned producer/composer David Holmes. Transatlantic friendship was secured, and recently Paul has had the chance to work with Tab and Vinny again.
