At the tender age of 21, Esther, daughter of Wet Wet Wet's Graeme Duffin, is a soulful new talent signed to Chrysalis. Manager Rab Andrew (Texas, Primal Scream) selected Paul to work on string arrangements for Esther's band, Ashton Lane. Their debut album of rock - pop received favourable reviews, comparing Esther to a Scottish Sheryl Crow. Esther has since left the band to concentrate on her solo career, and her honey-tinged vocals can be heard on a collaboration track, All for You, on Paul's debut album Filmtales.
