CRAIG ARMSTRONG

imagePaul first met film composer Craig Armstrong when they both worked from CAVA studios, in Glasgow. Craig’s hectic schedule, working on a Chanel advert with Baz Lurhmann, and a Robert Redford film, 'The Clearing', meant he needed a composer help out on another film project he had previously committed to. Having frequently worked with both Craig, and director David Mackenzie (Young Adam), Paul was the obvious choice, taking over the orchestration and arrangement for Asylum, as well as conducting the full orchestral soundtrack. Asylum is the story of a woman, drawn to one of her husband's psychiatric patients, a convicted murderer, starring Sir Ian McKellan and Natasha Richardson.
